Driven by her passion for making one-of-a-kind, antique pieces look new again, Irene’s foray into the design world began with her creative pursuits of reupholstering and refinishing vintage furniture, turning her San Francisco apartment into a workshop. She loved the idea that you could repurpose and recycle other people’s forgotten items into beautiful pieces of art. With this in mind, her obsession with crafting vintage treasures into one-of-a-kind pieces spilled over from interior design creations into fashion.

Irene decided to channel her love for accessories into herown bold and flirty line. Making jewelry had always been a fun hobby for Irene and with the encouragement of her friends and family she took her hobby further. Jung Jewels was conceived when Irene realized that she could no longer quell her entrepreneurial spirit.

Irene scours estate sales, auctions, flea markets, and antique stores to find brooches and other unique pieces to use in her collection. Her pieces are a combination of nostalgic vintage and antique finds combined with modern semi-precious stones and beads.

All of Irene’s pieces are one-of-a-kind and handmade in San Francisco with love. Whether paired with jeans and a tee for a casual weekend brunch or a little black dress for a night out, her bold statement creations reflect a glamorous yet fresh and flirty essence.
